“We are extremely picky about all projects, and especially about painting. We were very concerned about selecting the right painting contractor as we wanted to make sure the job was “spotless”. We expected a bit of overspray, delays (the usual stuff with contractors), but Ryan was absolutely fantastic to work with. He was thorough, professional, clean, buttoned up, timely, responsive and a great value. I had at least 7 other bids, and while he right within range price wise, he was by far the most professional of the group. He was on site every day personally overseeing and/or doing the work, and made sure any issues that came up were addressed promptly. Frankly, we expected to have a huge punch list at the end of the project, and it was difficult to find much to ask him about, as he tended to addresses items with us in advance. I’ve used a lot of various contractors over the years, and I have to say that Ryan ranks up there as one of the very best. I’d be happy to provide any additional detail if that would be helpful to anyone considering using Ryan and his team.”

“If you are looking for the best exterior house painter in town, hire Ryan Toelkes. He gives the best bids (VERY detailed and includes paint and materials so there were no surprises), goes above and beyond with the prep work, very careful and meticulous with the painting and trim work, he cleaned up after and guarantees his work and is very easy to work with. What more could you ask for? My house has never looked this good-ever! I would highly recommend Ryan-you can’t go wrong!!!”
“We only wish that all of our experiences with contractors and tradesmen who have done work at our home were as positive as our experience with Ryan Toelkes and Neighborhood Painting. A fair price, timely completion and high quality work. Ryan’s hands-on business model is the real secret. He’s capable, responsible and knowledgeable. His crew are purposeful, friendly and reflect Ryan’s client centered approach.”
Rick & Connie Stilwell
“Last fall, we called Ryan Toelkes at Neighborhood Painting along with six other contractors to obtain bids for our exterior house painting. We chose Ryan over the others for his professionalism and no-nonsense detailed quotes. Ryan was hands-on and on site with his crew during the entire project. The prep work was superb. The trim was precise. There wasn’t a drop of paint anywhere where it shouldn’t have been. There was no loud music blaring while the project was being done. The crew was every bit as professional as was Ryan. Each night after a full day’s work, they cleaned up every bit of scrap. Their sparkling trucks and equipment were also representative of the care they took on our house. Before final payment, Ryan walked us over every inch of the job to be sure we were satisfied and that nothing was left undone. We rate every aspect of our experience with Ryan A+.”
John and Judy Rix, Lenexa
“Neighborhood Painting has done a few jobs for me. I find the quality of their work to be exceptional. As a commercial property manager, it is very important that there be good communication between myself and the vendor and between my tenant and the vendor. Several tenants have commented on how congenial Neighborhood Painting was in scheduling work that was required in the tenant suites. This meant that the job flowed quickly with minimal disruption to my tenants. We would recommend Neighborhood Painting to anyone looking for a professional commercial painter.”
Linda S. Summers, VP Ted Greene Company
“The exterior paint job that Neighborhood Painting completed on our home was, and continues to be, absolutely beautiful. Our 1930s Tudor-style home was badly in need of numerous repairs, including stucco work and wood rot repair work. Ryan Toelkes and his team demonstrated strong knowledge of home construction and repair and completed all aspects of the job in a very high quality manner. Ryan personally oversaw the project from start to finish. The value that Neighborhood Painting’s work added to our home well exceeded the cost. We look forward to enjoying our beautiful home for years to come!”

“The BEST!! I come from a commercial development, design and construction background. We bid everything out to multiple contractors and look hard at previous working prior to awarding a bid. I did the same thing with our home. Bid it out to six different paint companies in the Kansas City area. The companies ran the gambit, from the ridiculous low price of $4,000 and “we’ll get it done in one week”, to the most expensive company offering no warranty on their workmanship with a bid of almost $20,000!! Neighborhood Painting’s bid was reasonable for the work that had to be completed. The crew was on time every day and only took a 30 minute lunch break each day. Most other contractors we’ve used in the area take multiple breaks. These guys put in a solid eight hours or more each day to complete the job before the winter weather moved in. They owner and crew were professional and courteous. Job site was cleaned everyday during the two and a half week process. Also, their references were great. Plus they have a 5-year warranty on their workmanship. Paint used was better than the standard Sherwin-Willams, Benjamin More, Lowes or Home Depot variety. We have already asked them to bid on other work we have. Workmanship is stellar. They are a 5 Star painting company!!!”
What a great review! I enjoyed reading your comments. You both were a pleasure to work for. We enjoy working for knowledgeable consumers, it makes the execution of the project much easier/ and your satisfaction with the end result that much more rewarding. We truly thank you for your business- and look forward to working with you again in the future.
“Everything went the way it was supposed to………no surprises. If you want to hire someone to who is responsible and cares about doing a good job you have to select Neighborhood Painting. When Ryan came over to look at my house and the give me a proposal, I thought he would knock it out of the park. It sounded like his bid would be too high. That turned out to not be true; his bid was competitive. It is so important to select the right company when it comes to your house. His crews were responsible and easy to talk to if you had questions about the carpentry or painting. He even had a color specialist come over our house to give us a painting color consultation, door and base coat. I thought our house would look good, but not better than it turned out to be. The wood products they used really made the house look better than a paint job. Ryan also gave us a five year guarantee. ”
Very happy to hear your satisfaction with the job we performed for you. That is very important to us. Thank you for the business and your time in reviewing the Company. Happy Holidays- Ryan
“I received a house painting estimate from Ryan at the end of September a day or so after he came and looked things over. He explained in detail what they would be doing and that he had two separate crews–one for prep and one for painting. The prep crew would replace a couple of battens and repair wood rot on a dormer window and spot glaze windows, manually scrape peeling paint, prime all bare wood, caulk entire house and then follow with a light power wash. The painting crew would come later and paint entire house using a spray and back roll application. I received one other estimate that was nearly twice as much and chose Neighborhood Painting. I am quite pleased with the results and was just as pleased with the process. All went just as Ryan explained and the workmen were thorough and professional. The prep work took one day and the painting took two and a half days. My mother is going to get an estimate from them in the spring.”
Thank you for taking the time to review us. I am glad you are happy with our workmanship. Thank you for the business. Happy Holidays- Ryan
“Ryan and his painting crew did a superb job! They were professional and punctual. They were unobtrusive, trustworthy and did a great job of cleaning up every day after they were done. They communication between Ryan, myself and his crew was top notch. I was a little indecisive at points and Ryan was patient and understanding with the changes I had in mind. They were accommodating with my wishes, specifically that they be careful with the new landscaping we had done. We are so happy with the end result, our house looks amazing, in my opinion. They’ve done such a wonderful job that I can’t wait to have them repaint some of our bedrooms this winter!”
Thank you for taking the time to write a review about us! Changing the look of your home is a big decision, so we understand uncertainty. You were a pleasure to work for.
“They did a thorough job of scraping off the old paint, being careful to contain any chips that might be lead paint. They replaced some of the custom shutters that had rotted away. After they finished painting the house, I inspected their work and found that they had painted three of the doors and a downspout the wrong color. The doors and downspout had originally been painted white, but they had painted them gray. They had also forgotten to paint the latticework. I emailed Ryan about the mistake on Saturday and he sent the crew out again the following Monday and they repainted the doors and painted the latticework. I checked their work and found that it had been done satisfactorily. I would have given the company all A’s if it hadn’t been for the painting mistakes. It caused me some inconvenience. Their work is good and I’m satisfied with the results. Ryan is very easy to work with and his workers were pleasant to deal with. I would recommend checking their work as they go so any mistakes can be avoided in the future.”
Thank you for reviewing us. I am glad that you are happy with your home and our service. Occasionally the guys and I can make a mistake and have to come back to repair things. We do it as fast as we can- and all I care is that you are happy with your service in the end. Thank you for the business.
“We were not in a big hurry. We knew the weather was brutal this summer and had no expectation that the crew would start soon. It was OK with us. Once the crew started they took care of it in no time. Wood rot and replacement shingles got fixed. The prep work went very smoothly. Within a week we had a beautiful house. The final detail of reinstalling our downspouts was the only hiccup in the whole operation.”
Thank you very much for the work and the review. We appreciate your business, Greatly.
“We were 110% satisfied with the work from Neighborhood Painting! Ryan was very responsive and his proposal was very competitive. His follow-up helped me keep on schedule. I work from home and was here the entire time the work was being completed. The crew was a joy to have around – they all really seemed to love their jobs and working together! That makes a huge difference in the quality of work you get. We were very happy with the final results, and wouldn’t hesitate to hire Ryan and his crew again! “
Thank you for taking the time to review the company. I hope you enjoy the new look. Thanks again for the work.
“The two crews (carpentry and painting) from Neighborhood Painting both did an outstanding job from start to finish. They were punctual, courteous, and always professional. I was very pleased with every step of the project. The wood rot around the windows was extensive and they did an excellent job on the replacement. The second crew then came in to do the prep and interior painting and the whole house looks great! I found a section of wood that was a little warped around the back of the house that I had failed to address in the original estimate and I was prepared to pay more for them to fix it for me but Ryan brought a crew over and they fixed it at no additional cost! Overall, I was very impressed!”
Thank you for the opportunity to work on your home. We appreciate the business and are glad that you were pleased with our services.
“Ryan set up a date and time for reviewing the house exterior and arrived on schedule. He reviewed the condition of the exterior with me, explaining the methods to be used in preparing for the painting and in applying the paint. He made suggestions related to painting the guttering and downspots and the front of the house that enhanced the appearance of the house. The preparation crew applied caulk at seams in the siding and in the guttering. Then they power washed the house The painting crew applied paint to the siding, guttering, and trim in one day. Both crews were careful and cleaned up after their work. The appearance of the house after the painting is very much improved. We apprediate the careful paint work of Neighborhood Painting.”
Thank you very much for the work and the positive comments on Angie’s List. We enjoyed working on your home. Let me know if you need anything from us in the future. Take Care.
“Ryan’s crews did a great job. The prep crew did the wood rot repair and hand scraped all pealing paint. All bare wood was primed and the entire home was caulked and then power washed. I have never seen prep work done so well before the painting crew was great and took special care to protect a new deck and new clad windows. The finished job looks great and is covered by a 5 year warranty”
Thank you for the review. We appreciate the business- I hope the new paint job assists you in the sale of your home. Thanks again.

“I found Neighborhood Painting on Angie’s List and contact them in the evening, by email if I remember right. Ryan contacted me the next day. I had never worked with a professional house painter before and he explained the basic process. We set a time for him to come out and look at the property to provide an estimate. He arrived on time and was friendly and professional. He explained how the work would be done and listened while I showed him some damaged spots in the side due to weather and animals. He explained that he used his own painters and did not contract out. I did not get the estimate during that visit, but he provided it by email shortly afterwards.
While I researched other painters, Ryan called back once a week to follow up and responded promptly if I emailed questions. I looked at two other painters and Neighborhood Painting’s estimate was actually priced in between the other two, but the lowest was so low I had my doubts about the quality of their work, so I went with Neighborhood Painting. I emailed back a signed copy of the estimate. The estimate was done in late May and I sent the signed copy back around June 11 or 12. Ryan advised he had a few contracts ahead of me and it would be in July before they could make it out. I didn’t get a word back until around 6/19, saying I would be put on the schedule soon, possibly by the end of the week for the prep team, who did make it out at the time Ryan said they would. They sealed the nail holes and seams, fixed the water and animal damage and power washed the house. Ryan then called me and explained that the paint team was 4 or 5 houses behind the prep team, and it would be a little longer wait until the paint team could make it out. He asked me if this was okay and I said it would be fine.
The prep team did leave an extension cord behind. I emailed Ryan about it but I didn’t hear back until after the paint team came, but this was no big deal. The paint team made it out just before the fourth of July. Ryan called and explained that they had been working hard to get the houses done and asked me if it was all right if they started work before the fourth, which was a Wednesday, and came back the following Monday so they could spend the holiday with their families. I said that would be fine. I had to go to the paint store earlier in the week and pick up their color samples to choose my colors. He asked for the colors I had chosen during this call and I gave those to him.
The painters arrived very early, about 6:00 or 6:30 am. They must have worked fast or worked well into the hottest part of the day because the main body was completely painted and the shutters were removed and cleaned by the time I got home from work. The house already looked great, and part of the trim was already done. One of the painters did leave a Diet Coke bottle behind but this didn’t bother me at all considering how well the house was done, and that the temperature on my back deck got up to about 112 degrees on that day. The trailer was left out in front of the house over the week, obviously because there was still work to be done. This was also fine by me.
The painters arrived the next Monday, again very early. I spoke with one briefly and he was very friendly and helpful. The house was finished by the time I got home from work. I should note: I did not pick up the Diet Coke bottle but it was gone at the end of the day. Ryan was willing to come out to the house while I was at work and pick up the check and the extension cord. Very positive experience. I would recommend Neighborhood Painting to anyone.

Thank you for the positive comments and rating. I appreciate the business- I think the house turned out very well, I hope you enjoy the new look for years to come. – Ryan
“Ryan and his teams did a wonderful job. My husband and I were both impressed with Ryan when he came for the estimate. He took time to speak to us and find out what we wanted. He was very attentive to our concerns of quality but needing to cut cost as much as possible. He gave options and the pros and cons of all the options. To the point of even driving back to our house 10 minutes after he was done with the estimate because he thought of another option. The work was top notch from the beginning.
The siding repair and prep crew were very good. We had new siding put on the front of the house and some bad trim replaced round the rest of the house. The new trim looks wonderful, even better than expected.
We used the paint consultant that Ryan offered and she was a big help with picking a color. The paint crew painting the entire house and did a wonderful job. They were very fast and efficient. Ryan himself came back 2 weeks later to paint and install our new shutters for us as they were on back order and took longer to come in than it took him and his team to get the job done.
Wonderful service, extremely respective and responsive to questions and issues. Ryan was on site each day checking in and and very responsive to phone calls when any issue arose.
I will definitely use Ryan and his crew again if we need any work done.”
I enjoyed working on this project. The Before and After photos are great- this may be a project that needs to be featured on our website- with your permission of course? Thank you for the business, and it was truly a pleasure working for you and your husband. – Ryan
“They were competitively priced, but Ryan brought much more to the table. The company does not subcontract. All of their men are employees and you can tell this by their professionalism and quality of service. Additionally, all the men are insured and Ryan will show you the documentation. Sometimes a painting company will only insure the owner. If one of their men are hurt they will come against your insurance company. Neighborhood Painting use a two team approach. The first team comes in and scrapes, caulks, repairs wood rot and takes down your storm windows. There was not one paint chip on the ground. The second team of painters comes in and paints the house. I found their finesse painting of where wood meets brick was the best I have seen. There was not one brush stroke on my brick or paint drops on my front porch. I originally had flat paint, but Ryan suggested eggshell and that really made the house “pop”. It looked better than the day we bought the house. The storms were back up and even washed. The old adage applies “you get what you pay for”.”
Thank you for the review. We truly appreciate the work. I am bad with names myself at times- if we could can we get the names on this review changed. Thank you for your support and business.-
Ryan, Neighborhood Painting, Inc
“I enjoyed using Neighborhood Painting as Ryan was easy to contact via email and responded quickly to my messages and phone calls. Ryan was there to give me the initial bid and was on site when the work was being done. He also recommended some colors to use for the trim and the door that I liked. Work was done quickly – there was a crew that handled the prep and wood rot repair, and another to do the painting the following day. Work was done quickly and efficiently.
One mishap occurred during the job – a large window was broken during the wood rot repair. However, Ryan located and installed a replacement the same day. No harm, no foul. I also had him paint some trim around the chimney that was missed during the final walk through.
Finally, I noticed that some wood rot was missed around some of my front windows. Apparently this was missed during the initial bid/inspection process. Ryan returned several weeks later and repaired and touched up the area at no cost.
Overall, I had a good experience with Neighborhood Painting. Seven months later, the paint still looks as good as new and I’ve felt good about the service that I received.
Thank you for taking the time to write a review. I like seeing reviews come in from jobs we completed awhile ago- it shows that things went well and stayed that way. It was a pleasure working with you and we enjoyed working on your home with all the scenary.
“They are very thorough and meticulous. They are very responsive to my questions. They and polite and the crew has been great. Ryan has been great in particular. I have had him down different times for alternatives and each time he has given me different updated bids. He is totally professional. He is very personable but definitely no nonsense kind. He gets right to the point. I have been really pleased with them. I will definitely use them again in the future. They will be the company I will go with for future painting jobs and our deck staining project.”
“It went well. During the quote process, Ryan was on-time, professional and listened to what I was looking for. Out of multiple painting contractors who I met with, Ryan was one of the few who explained in detail what he was going to do and why he was doing it. He was also one of the few contractors who recommended the 1×4 skirt boards at the bottom of the siding to prevent water damage & rot to the existing siding. We probably spent 30+ minutes walking around the exterior discussing what I needed and what was recommended. A well detailed quote was prepared 1-2 days later.
One unique request I had was some wood under a soffit had become rotten due to rainwater getting behind a gutter. Ryan explained that this wasn’t typical work for his carpenters but his team was able to accomplish it. This was very nice as it saved me from having to hire a second contractor and coordinate them with the painters. A+ for being flexible and going above and beyond.
Neighborhood Painting’s bid was higher than most of the quotes I received, but definitely not the most expensive so I’d say it was a fair price. They don’t use sub-contractors, had multiple references (which I did check), had a good BBB rating and a good Angie’s List rating. Ryan provided proof of insurance before I even asked for it. Most impressive was that they did not require any money down. All money was due at completion of work and once I was happy with the results. The fact that a house painting contractor has enough working capital to start and finish jobs without down payments – and only require payment upon completion of the work – is a really good sign. If anything goes wrong, you’re not out a dime and you have some leverage.
Painting started 1-2 weeks after acceptance of the quote and moved very quickly. Paint scraper arrived first followed shortly by the carpenters. The replacement of the rotten wood, installation of 1×4 skirt, and other wood repairs took roughly two days. Power washing next. The painters carefully covered all my new windows with plastic to avoid paint during the spray. Painting of the white trim work was last. Everything looked great once it was done.
I waited about 2 months to write this review to see if any problems popped-up after some heavy rains and high temperatures. So far, the only issue is two or three small spots on the North side where the paint has bubbled, but not cracked. The painting comes with a guarantee, so I’ll call Ryan if I need to have it repaired.
My only disappointments were the debris left by the carpenter crews and some of the 1×3 replacement. A big mound of sawdust left in my front yard did a nice job of killing a 2×2 section of the grass and I’m still finding nails and miscellaneous debris from the work. There were also some 1x3s that were not replaced that look a bit questionable. I would have liked to have seen them replaced too.
I would use Neighborhood Painting again for future needs.
Thank you for completing the review. That was a very honest review. Constructive criticism will only make us better- so I actually thank you for that. Let me know if you need me to come look at anything. Thanks again for the work. Ryan
“Ryan was very professional. Returned my calls and emails promptly. Took me around the house and told me exactly what he was going to do. His crew showed up on time, the exact date that we selected. They picked up after themselves every day. It took them 2 days to paint my house. I was impressed to see them cleaning paint that had splashed on the window. The house looks great and my neighbor commented the paint job looked great. I am very pleased with Ryan and his crew and would recommend them to anyone.”
Member- Thank you for the work, It was a pleasure working for you.
“I received a prompt and professional inspection and estimate within 24 hours of my phone call. I was impressed by the commitment to quality (both in relation to the prep work, brand of paints and experience of staff) and the 5 year guarantee – which I did not find with the other, less expensive quotes I received. I have a lot of professional landscaping around my home with mature ornamental shrubs and trees – the paint crew took special care to cover and work around my plants – not one was damaged! I was also thrilled that they were able to fit me in over the Thursday and Friday before the long Memorial Day weekend. My house is beautiful and looks brand new – a superb and professional painting company! “
Thanks guys, a real pleasure…Sincerely,Kelleigh Busing
Thank you again for the business. It was a pleasure working for you. I am pleased you were completely satisfied with the job. Take Care.
“Great experience from initial contact to wrap up. Ryan, the owner, inspired confidence from the beginning. He was professional, explained the work that needed to be done, and was quick to respond with a competitive, detailed painting estimate. Has two crews, one of which completed the prep work and and another which did the painting. The prep crew did a comprehensive job including scraping, caulking, spot glazing, wood repair, mildew removal and washing the entire house. Ryan completed a walk around to ensure prep work was to our satisfaction before painting crew arrived. The painters were excellent, taking care, attending to detail, and took pride in doing a great job. Complete clean up each night ensured minimal disruption and mess. Ryan was frequently on site, communicating each step of the way, giving helpful suggestions and recommendations, and ensuring we were satisfied with the job. Our little bungalow looks fantastic – she celebrates her 90th birthday this year and I’m sure she’s never looked better.”
Thank you for taking the time to post a review for us. I appreciate it- thank you for the business as well. I hope you enjoy the new look of your home for years to come. – Ryan
Our house is approx. 11 years old, needed to be painted for 2nd time since original paint job. We had numerous estimates, many from Angie’s List. Last painter we used moved out of town a year or so after the job, right as we started having peeling issues. We wanted to find an actual company this time with a track record and warranty, not just a guy recommended by a buddy.
Ryan was very knowledgeable and professional during the estimate. He was able to answer all my questions and pointed out some of the same areas of concern that I had. During the entire process, if he said he or his workers would be there, they showed up. He doesn’t sub out his work, and he had two crews: one for carpentry / prep work, and one for painting. His employees were very professional, cleaned up after themselves, and there was little if any disruption to the normal goings on in our household. The final product looks great! We painted the same color as before and were shocked at how much our house had faded in 5 years! I only found one tiny area on a very high second story gutter that had not been completely covered by paint. Ryan was out within a day to take care of it.
Of all the estimates we got, Neighborhood Painting was at the upper end. There was probably a $1000 difference between the low and high end of our estimates. We do not mind paying for quality, and Ryan and his crews’ professionalism along with the 5 year warranty made us willing to pay the difference. We are not sorry we paid extra to have guys show up when they say they will and do a great job.
I appreciate the feedback. We enjoyed working on your project. Thank you for the work!
“We received 4 painting bids before choosing Ryan, owner of Neighborhood Painting, to complete the work on our house and shed. One of the main reasons we chose Ryan’s company was because of his professionalism and great knowledge of the business. His bid was also very competitive. This company is fully insured with not only general liability but also worker’s compensation insurance.
By not subcontracting out his employees, his company is able to consistently deliver quality work. They did not get a drop of paint on our new concrete or roof. Our house has never looked better. We would recommend Neighborhood Painting to anyone who is looking for a hassle free Kansas City Painting Company.”

“After contacting Ryan, he came by to look at the area. He responded quickly with an estimate. We began the job the following week. The crew performed high quality work while being punctual and professional. We are repeat customers.”
I appreciate the positive comments. We appreciate your business!
“Even though I elected to go with another contractor (tough decision), Ryan’s presentation was professional, his knowledge of the exterior house painting process was thorough, paint material selection competent, his quote was detailed and the bid was competitive. Of all the contractors that I interviewed and accepted quotes from, Ryan was the only contractor that expressed concern for using equipment that provided safety for his workmen. Retiring from an industrial background, I believe this attitude is to be commended and will not doubt reflect on a high quality level of their work in the final product. I will definitely seek quotes from Neighborhood Painting in the future and recommend the same to my friends and neighbors.”

Thank you for the kind words. I look forward to assisting you in the future. Good luck on your current projects.
“From the first time we spoke with Ryan at Neighborhood Painting he has been attentive, responsive and honest about the work that needed to be done. Ryan answered all our questions, even coming back out to the house to discuss things further with my husband as he had additional questions. Neighborhood Painting’s bid was fair and the quality of work surpassed our expectations. The crew worked hard, cleaned up after themselves and communicated very well with us as the project moved forward. As with any wood rot repairs additional repairs can be found when working, when this happened Ryan and his crew communicated clearly what needed to happen and why even taking the time to show us the issue. There were never any surprises as the project moved forward and we appreciated that very much. Our house looks great and we are very happy with the job done.”
Thank you for the kind words Member. It was a pleasure working for you! I hope you enjoy all the new work on your home for years to come.
“Ryan provided an accurate and thorough house painting estimate. The crews were professional, clean, and performed the job according to the specified timeline. Their bid was competitive.”
“From start to finish, everything went as planned. Ryan would tell me that his crew will be there at a certain time, they were, and Ryan was onsite as well making sure everything was right and went over everything they did in detail with me.
When a business owner is onsite with his crew making sure things go well, to me, it shows great pride in the company’s work and great character of the owner. Ryan and his crew are perfectionist’s and there work really shows it.”
“I really like the owner. He’s very responsive. I have a couple of things that he needs to come out and do, but I haven’t contacted him because I’ve been very busy that I just discovered. They did a great job. Their clean up was good. They redid anything that needed to be done and that wasn’t up to my expectation, but they did a wonderful job. I would give them an A all the way around. I would use them again in the future if need be. They did a wonderful job for me that I was very pleased.”
“Ryan was very professional, on time, courteous and easy to work with throughout the entire process. He walked us through what repairs would be done to each area, how the house would be prepped, and the type of paint that would be used (that would work better on stucco). His estimate was delivered in a timely manner and he worked to accomodate our schedule due to our house being on the market.
A prep crew arrived first to caulk, replace wood rot, etc. We were impressed with each of the crew members. They were all very polite, courteous and hard working. The paint crew followed. Again, we were impressed with each of them and the care they took. Upon completion, they cleaned up and paid special attention to making sure all the windows were paint-free.
Ryan was also on sight each day to oversee the work and follow-up with us. He runs his company like a well-oiled machine. The work and customer service were both a breath of fresh air! I would highly recommend Neighborhood Painting.”
Thank you so much for the kind response. It was a pleasure working with you. I thank you again for your business. – Ryan
“We are so pleased with the job that Ryan and his crew did on our house!!! When we contacted him, Ryan came out right away to give us a quote and the crew got to work on our house ahead of schedule. After replacing wood rot and caulking the entire house, they began painting the exterior, and it was sprayed on flawlessly. They were also very careful to tape the windows and exterior fixtures first so that they stayed clean during the process. I felt the work was completed in a timely manner (three days) with the last day being used just for touch-ups. The crew was always very polite and were happy to correct any minor spots that I could find. Ryan went out of his way to make sure I was happy with the work, and even came out to replace an additional area of wood rot that was discovered first thing, ensuring that the project was completed on time and on budget. The house looks almost brand new – we are thrilled!”
I appreciate the kind words, we enjoyed working on your home. Take care- Ryan

We expected a bit of overspray, delays (the usual stuff with contractors), but Ryan was absolutely fantastic to work with. Frankly, we expected to have a hugh punch list at the end of the project, and it was difficult to find much to ask him about, as he tended to addresses items with us in advance. I’ve used a lot of various contractors over the years, and I have to say that Ryan ranks up there as one of the very best. I’d be happy to provide any additional detail if that would be helpful to anyone considering using Ryan and his team.”
Thank you for the kind words. It was a challenge, but a rewarding job as I feel the end result turned out great. It was a pleasure working for you both, thank you again for sharing your experience.
“I find the quality of their work to be exceptional. We would recommend Neighborhood Painting to anyone looking for a professional and quality job.”
“We chose Ryan over the others for his professionalism and no-nonsense detailed quotes. Ryan was hands-on and on site with his crew during the entire project. The prep work was superb. The trim was precise. There wasn’t a drop of paint anywhere where is shouldn’t have been. We rate every aspect of our experience with Ryan, A+. One of the best painting contractors around!”

“EXCELLENT!!! I could not be happier-Ryan not only owns the company, but he actually does the painting (there are very few other companies that do that). He along with an exceptional crew would always show up on time and clean up at the end of each day. The work was done in a timely manner. The prep work was exceptional-they took care to do the job right, not just fast. The bid included all of the paint and supplies so there were no surprises and they used top of the line primer and paint. Before the final payment, we walked around the property and Ryan was certain that everything was to my satisfaction before he left. Ryan is honest, knowledgeable and a great guy to have at you home-I HIGHLY recommend Neighborhood Painting. My house has never looked better and as time goes by, it is not changing a bit!”
